I'm so sick and tired of seeing perfectly abled people using handicapped parking places. We've got these plaques and car tags for a reason. I was recently at Super Dollar and needed a parking place close to the door because of a badly arthritic knee.

I will probably not get an answer to the question I am about to pose, and quite frankly I am more concerned that no one hasn’t already posed the question. The question is why is there such a disparity in the price of gas in Union Springs than the gas prices in Montgomery?

Concerning the articles on the confederate markers in Bullock County, Alabama or any other state. Why would these markers be considered important or of any historical value? These markers commemorate the worst of this country.

Is it asking too much for the residents of this county to police their own right of way so that our roads don’t look like dumps? Since garbage on the highways and byways seems to be a constant, and many people in the county don’t subscribe to garbage pick-up, it seems to me that the most exp…

Concerning garbage pick up in the county areas. What purpose will a public County Commission meeting accomplish? Like other residents, I experienced the price increase when the County decided to go with Amwaste. That was a price increase.

A friend of mine shared with me something that I found to be quite disturbing. This friend works at a business in Union Springs where the white owner apparently thinks so little of its black and Hispanic employees that engaging in a conversation where they use the N-word is of no consequence.
